LAS VEGAS, NV – Foundation for Positively Kids, the premier foundation for children’s medical treatment in southern Nevada, has partnered with Sedation Dental Surgical Center to better provide dental surgical care for medically fragile children.
Sedation Dental Surgical Center will provide special needs patients, foster children, and patients with dental fears with enhanced treatment by providing streamlined care for special needs patients to have their dental work done under general anesthesia, and be discharged the same day. The Sedation Dental Surgical Center has expert dental, nursing staff and board-certified anesthesiologists to provide patient monitoring and recovery treatments after the procedure.
“Now that the dental surgery center is opening to Positively Kids, we will be able to better serve many of the foster children and special needs children that need sedation for their dental work. Currently these children go to Sunrise hospital, at a greater cost to the state and a longer process for the patient,” says Dr. Steven Delisle, board certified dentist anesthesiologist at Sedation Dental Surgical Center.
“We're thrilled to launch enhanced dental ambulatory care and services to our patients,” says Fred Schultz, Founder & CEO of the Foundation for Positively Kids.
An open house reception will be held on Saturday, May 4th from 12:00pm-2pm at 4090 N MLK BLVD, North Las Vegas NV 89032. The reception is open to the public and information on their newly expanded dental ambulatory program will be provided.
Sedation Dental Surgical Center officially launches on May 4th, 2013 with two operating rooms and will be fully staffed with dentists, nurses and board certified medical anesthesiologists. The Sedation Dental Surgical Center is the only ambulatory surgery center in Nevada designed solely for dental patients. Hours of operation are 7:00am- 5:00pm. They accept all types of insurance and Medicaid.
