‘NO DRESS CODE’ – Voted Best Album 2012: Reno News & Review – Best of Northern Nevada 2012 (Aug 09, 2012)
Tahoe’s Band of the Year 2012 – Lake Tahoe Action (Dec 6, 2012)
Jelly Bread, emerging out of Reno, NV, is a tour de force of full frontal funk, thoroughly steeped in a Rock-Americana style, with a dash of rollicking indie alt-rock radio appeal.
The band is fronted by award winning songwriter and lap steel player, Dave Berry, and vocalist and beast of drummer, Cliff Porter. The band’s ability to meld the elements of a high desert twang and Oakland funk & rock through musical alchemy produces a chameleonic playlist highlighted by dual vocals that bounce between native chanting at a bluegrass barbeque and a gospel singer fronting a rock band at a Sunday morning service.
Brian Jordan Band
Brian Jordan delivers his sultry sound to audiences around the world with a unique flair. As leader of, “Brian Jordan Band”, Brian has thrilled many audiences with his own brand of rock infused groove music. Brian spent 12 years as guitarist with the band, "Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe". He has also performed and recorded with Grammy Award winning artist, Lauryn Hill and appeared numerous times with the house band on the NBC television show, “Last Call with Carson Daly. . Brian has also shared the stage and swapped licks with many luminaries such as James Brown, Dave Mathews, Lenny Kravitz, Bob Weir, "The Allman Brothers Band",
GrooveSession from Ontario, California is a power rock trio with great song writing and live performance. A reputation as the barefoot band that enjoys long sets and a little something for everyone to share. Body, mind and sound “GrooveSession” brings a multi-genre blend of rock n’ roll that they call “movin' groovin' music.” A very hard working and easy going band with a sound on their quest to end the jammin' famine.
Dead Winter Carpenter's
Hailing from North Lake Tahoe, Dead Winter Carpenters represents everything the American west stands for. With an unbridled spirit, and an authentic approach to the art of songwriting, the five-piece roots-rock band captures the freedom of the road with the kind of energy that is made of legends. “DWC” has found considerable national success and with top level festival and theater dates booked around the country.
