Military Ride Free, Other Special Offers During Memorial Day On The Strip

MILITARY RIDE FREE, OTHER SPECIAL OFFERS DURING MEMORIAL DAY ON THE STRIP
LAS VEGAS (May 22, 2013) – The Las Vegas Monorail will help celebrate Memorial Day by hosting a “Ride Free with your Military I.D.” promotion from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Any visitor with a military I.D. can present it and ride for free May 27,making it even easier to travel the Las Vegas Strip quickly and in air conditioned comfort. All of our visitors can still take advantage of our special holiday fare of $5 off a three day, unlimited ride pass good for the entire long weekend.
“Las Vegas has been a military town since the 1940s, and is home to thousands of our military personnel and their families,” said Ingrid Reisman, vice president of corporate communications for the Las Vegas Monorail Company. “We hope that we’ll see many of them on Memorial Day as they enjoy all the sights and excitement of the Las Vegas Strip. This free ride day is a small gesture of thanks for their military service.”
