United Blood Services to Host Memorial Day Weekend Blood Drive at Cannery Casino & Hotel

WHAT: Blood drive at the Cannery Casino & Hotel
WHY: Find the hero in you this Memorial Day Weekend! The holiday weekend marks the unofficial start of summer which is traditionally a time of great need for United Blood Services. Community members are encouraged to help boost blood bank supplies before the busy summer travel season begins.
In order to keep up with demand, United Blood Services needs to attract 200 blood donors during each day of the Cannery Casino & Hotel blood drive. All donors ages 21 and older at this blood drive will receive two free vouchers for the Cannery Row Buffet.
As Southern Nevada’s community blood provider, United Blood Services relies on blood donations to make sure blood is available for anyone who needs it. UBS currently has a need for O negative and A negative blood.
Donors are encouraged to make an appointment and can do so by calling 877-827-4376 or by visiting www.unitedbloodservices.org/LV.
