Swing For The Kids Golf Tournament
Published on Sun, Jul 14, 2013 (2:09 p.m.)LAS VEGAS -The Foundation for Positively Kids, a local non-profit that provides a continuum of medical care for medically fragile and special needs children, announces annual Swing for the Kids golf tournament on September 16, 2013 at TPC Summerlin, 1700 Village Center Circle, Las Vegas, Nevada 89134. All proceeds benefit medically fragile children in Clark County, Nevada.
The cost for a foursome is $750 and $200 for individual golfers, and includes 18 holes with cart, event T-shirt, golf survival kit, breakfast and awards luncheon. Sponsorships range from $500 to $5,000. Golfers will also have a chance to win $1,000,000, a Harley Davidson motorcycle from Las Vegas Harley Davidson and a Toyota Highlander SUV from Centennial Toyota if they hit a hole-in-one on established holes.
Positively Kids provides medical, dental, vision, neurological and psychiatric services to children in the Clark County Department of Family Services. Programs offered by Positively Kids strive to embrace each child’s unique needs while providing services essential to their well-being and happiness.
“We serve over 3,000 families per year, and support from the community is vital to meet the needs of our medically fragile children,” says Fred Schultz, Founder & CEO of the Foundation for Positively Kids. “Our annual charitable events allow us to seamlessly provide critical evaluations, screenings, exams, and necessary medical equipment.”
