Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman declares Golden Steer Steakhouse Day in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (April 7, 2012) – The Golden Steer Steakhouse, established in 1958, has a history of clientele that frequented the world famous restaurant for the last 53 years. This esteemed group of Celebrities, Sports Figures, Actors and Dignitaries often required private booths that would be continually reserved for them in the oldest steakhouse in Las Vegas.

On April 7, 2012 Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, wife of former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, proclaimed the special day as The Golden Steer Steakhouse Day. The Proclamation stated the following: Wereas, The Golden Steer Steakhouse has been opened since 1958

Wereas, The Golden Steer Steakhouse has served celebrities that include The Rat Pack, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, Mario Andretti, Holly Madison, Las Vegas Mayors Oscar and Carolyn Goodman, Shecky Green, Natalie Wood, John Wayne, Betty Grable, Clint Eastwood, Mickey Rooney, and Mohamed Ali
Wereas, Dr. Michael J. Signorelli is the Proprietor of the Golden Steer Steakhouse
Wereas, The Golden Steen Steakhouse has been serving the Best Steaks on Earth Since 1958

Therefore; I ,the Mayor of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, hereby proudly proclaim April 7, 2012 to be: THE GOLDEN STEER STEAKHOUSE DAY
The restaurant is owned and operated by proprietor Dr. Michael J. Signorelli, who has carries multiple licenses at the steakhouse for the last 10 years. Michael is one of the first group to receive a Doctorate Degree from UNLV, while working for the Howard Hughes Corporation, and was the 2011 recipient of the David Chow Humanitarian Award for his contributions in the field of Education.
