Christmas Dinner For The Homeless And Less Fortunate

WHAT: A special Christmas dinner will be served to the homeless and less fortunate on Christmas Day. Approximately 1,300 meals are expected to be served. Executive Chef Juan Carlos Penate is planning a menu of Breast of Turkey Duxelle, Nest of Spaghetti in a Red Wine Demi Sauce, with Roasted Butternut Squash, Dinner Roll and Butter and Red Velvet Cake with Anglaise Sauce.

The Catholic Charities St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility has been serving meals to the community’s homeless and needy men, woman and children since 1965.

WHO: The doors are open to anyone who would like to attend, free of charge.
More than 125 volunteers will serve the meals.

WHEN: Christmas Day
Wednesday, December 25, 2013 from 10a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Catholic Charities St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility
1501 Las Vegas Blvd N. (Owens and Las Vegas Blvd. North)
