SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31 – 10 AM TO 4 PM
The Parenting Expo is designed to help educate and inform local parents to make the best decisions possible in raising their families through the help of vendors, seminars and workshops.
There are over 150 local vendors promoting their products, services and opportunities to more than 2,000 local families.
The event hosts a number of free seminars and workshops including: Helping your child achieve in the classroom, tackling your child's issue head on, techniques on improving focus and building a hands on learning kit.
There is a full schedule of free live entertainment throughout the day on the main stage which includes: a fencing demonstration for Red Rock Fencing Club, a skateboarding demonstration from Colonial Brand Pro Skateboards, a children’s self-defense clinic from Extreme Couture, a magic show with Doodad the Magician, a children's yoga workshop with Dahn Yoga and a live rock performance from the School of Rock.
This event has great door prizes: A weekend trip to Disneyland, Lego Land and ID Camp, tickets to Disney on Ice, Ringling Brothers & Barnum, Bailey Circus, and the Las Vegas 51s games, an annual family membership to the Nevada State Museums, birthday parties at the Skyzone and Mini Grand Prix and countless prizes like I-pods, skateboards, video games and 51s gear.
Adult admission is $5.00 online, $8.00 at the door and all children are free. The event website is www.ParentingExpo.Org.
This event is produced by Pro Expo, Inc. a local consumer exposition company that also produced the Fun After 55 Expo featuring the Beach Boys last October at the SouthPoint Arena, as well as, the Las Vegas Women’s Expo and Las Vegas Health & Wellness Expo.
