Third Annual Desert Reign ProCity Summer League
Published on Tue, Jun 17, 2014 (3:59 p.m.)The 3rd annual Desert Reign ProCity Summer League will tip-off June 18th, at 6:30pm at Grant Sawyer Middle School (5450 Redwood Street, Las Vegas NV 89118). Top college basketball players from Las Vegas including current and former UNLV’s Rebels will participate in the league. Several other local stars are also scheduled to participate including Ben Carter (UNLV), Goodluck Okonoboh (UNLV), Jerome Seagears (UNLV), Jordan Cornish (UNLV), Cody Doolin (UNLV), Daryl Gaynor (San Jose State), Micheal Thompson (Boise State), Joseph Tuss (Air Force Academy), and Juwan Major (Southern Utah).
This is the 3rd season of The Desert Reign ProCity Summer Basketball League featuring four teams of college and professional basketball players including Justin Hawkins (UNLV 2012), Wink Adams (UNLV 2009), Pierre Jackson (Baylor 2013, New Orleans Pelicans) Hank Thorns (TCU 2012, Mexico, Professionally), Billy White (San Diego State 2011, Mexico, Professionally), Heiden Ratner (Silverado High School Grad), Josh McCarver (Green Valley High School Grad), Juan Pattillo (Canyon Springs High School Grad), Kentrel Washington (Clark High School Grad) Jamall Smith, Terrell Evans, as well as many others.
There will be no charge for fans for this event (FREE) and everyone is welcome to come and watch this competitive league.
The purpose of this league is to provide our local players with quality competition in a safe community atmosphere.
League play will start June 18th to July 22nd (June 18th, 25th, 30th: July 2nd, 7th, 9th, 15th, 22nd). Game times are 6:30pm and 8:00pm.
