LAS VEGAS, NV - The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation (DSLRF), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit breast cancer research foundation, is proud to announce Love Walk Las Vegas on September 8th, 2012. With 5 years of success in the Los Angeles area, Love Walk has cruised its way down Highway 15 to Las Vegas thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers in the area.
This event welcomes community members and Foundation supporters throughout the area to participate in a 5K walk in Town Square Las Vegas. The walk will be held in Town Square at 6605 Las Vegas Boulevard South in Las Vegas, NV. Registration will open at 7:00am with the walk starting at 8:30am. Attendees are encouraged to come out and enjoy all walk festivities, and visit sponsor and exhibitor booths before and after the walk. The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation would like to honor survivors and those who have fought breast cancer by inviting attendees to take part in the Love Walk Las Vegas memorial wall. To celebrate all participants and their support, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation will also be providing register attendees with a special Town Square goody bag.

“Love Walk raises money for innovative and groundbreaking breast cancer research that focuses on prevention and finding the cause with a goal to stop breast cancer before it even starts,” said Dr. Susan Love, President of the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. “We are thrilled to be hosting a walk in Las Vegas and are looking forward to many great walks in the future with the Las Vegas community.”

This 5k walk is an opportunity to learn more about the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, and its signature program, the Army of Women, and how it is mobilizing the local Las Vegas community to turn awareness into action by contributing to breast cancer research. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from this event are used to fund research that is moving breast cancer beyond a cure, by focusing on breast cancer prevention and eradication.
The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is dedicated to eradicating breast cancer and improving the quality of women’s health through innovative research, education, and advocacy.
