Itzhak Perlman

World-renowed classical violinists performs, conducts UNLV orchestra

A living legend in the classical music industry, Itzhak Perlman has traveled the world and performed with every major orchestra. The winner of 16 Grammy and three Emmy awards, Perlman is a teacher at the esteemed Juilliard School and is commonly referred to as the virtuoso of the violin.

As part of the UNLV Performing Art Center's Charles Vanda Master Series, Perlman will be performing J.S. Bach's "Sonata No. 3 in E Major for Violin and Keyboard," R. Strauss' "Sonata for Violin & Piano in E Flat Major," and Poulenc's "Sonata for Violin and Piano," among other selections.

He will be performing with pianist Rohan de Silva.
