Apocalyptica

Made famous by the presence of four cellos in their hardcore metal rock band, the members of the Finnish group are a truly unique beacon of light in their often recycled genre.

Classically trained together at an academy in Helsinki, the four members began playing together in the mid 1990s. Originally, Apocalyptica's works were mostly interpretations of metal anthems, but by their third album in 2000, the band had crossed over into creating some of their very own metal symphonies.

Hear all of their creations live in concert at the House of Blues Monday, May 19 at an all ages show.
