Changing Faces, or Orginal Dance Drama by Jeneane Gallo-Huggins
Designed around the concept for the dance drama Changing Faces, the LVA Art Department’s show is centered around the question, “Who are you?” The photography students have approached the idea of the person shown to the world, the person shown to friends and family, and the person they show only to themselves. Graphic design students are using descriptive words to create images of themselves, character totem poles, vector art signatures, as well as other pieces. The video design students have created conceptual videos about the ‘Changing Faces of American Youth,’ centered on the shift in ethnicity and diversity in America. The Gallery is located in the lobby of the Lowden Theater.
