Fourth of July Celebration
Henderson Independence Days fest at Mission Hills Park

Celebrate America’s birthday with a tribute to the red, white and blue featuring family activities, patriotic music and a spectacular fireworks show at Mission Hills Park in Henderson.
Local high school clubs and groups will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, snow cones and ice cream, with all proceeds benefiting their school. Activities include three-legged races, gunny sack races, a water balloon toss and a water cup brigade.
The event features a three-on-three basketball tournament for teams of boys and girls; a volleyball tournament, featuring co-ed teams and girls teams, and a Battle of the Bands competition, featuring nine bands.
Randy Anderson Band performs at 6 p.m., and the Henderson Symphony Orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m.
The fireworks show starts at 9 p.m.
A shuttle service will be provided for those who park at Foothill High School, 800 College Dr.
