Las Vegas Heritage Day
Grab your cowboy hat and come on down to the Old Las Vegas Fort to celebrate the spirit of the Old West and the history of Early Las Vegas. Watch the outlaws and desperados from 6 Reenactment Guild of America groups as they participate in a Frontier Life contest from 10:30 a.m. to p.m. Watch the Costume Contest from 2-4 p.m. with our guest judge Mark Hall-Patton from the Clark County Museum, and stomp your boots to the country western music of the Dean West Tribute Band at 2:30 p.m. Join in on the exciting Fast Draw Competition that will be held all day. Visit with the Mountain Men, Ranch O.D. Gass and the First Lady of Las Vegas, Helen Stewart. Wear your cowboy hat or western wear and receive a free raffle ticket.
