Les Racquet

Brooklyn-based Les Racquet is a jazz-oriented indie rock trio touring nationally in support of their new album, “Whale Hail”, recorded at Elevated Basement Studio in Savannah, GA. Les Racquet are a trio of musicians with jazz awareness and technique, who pride themselves on writing and performing music that can peak the interest of learned musicians as well as the mainstream listener. Imagine the creativity of the Bad Plus with three part harmonies and pop sensibility. Their sound has been likened to Fun., Dr. Dog ("on crack") the Fleet Foxes ("...if someone gave them balls.") Frank Zappa and Queen.
