Nuclear Dream Art Gala

The organizers behind the nuke-themed art project slated for next month’s Burning Man in Gerlach, Nevada, are throwing one last fundraiser, and it sounds like one for the ages (if not for the Atomic Age). That period will be acknowledged with an homage to Andy Warhol and his legendary Factory work/hang space, and guests are encouraged to don Pop-style duds and hairstyles (especially for the costume contest) while dancing to underground sounds and watching live artists, whose work will be up for auction. July 11, 9 p.m., $10-$20 suggested donation.
