Yano Magiameli, 68, of North Las Vegas, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 30, 1927, in Omaha, Neb. A 5 1/2-year resident, he was a retired steel worker, a World War II and Korean War Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2543.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one sister, Josephine Nadeau of Alexandria, Va.; and one brother, John Mangiameli of Plattsmouth, Neb.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
