Fast facts on Seven Hills

Seven Hills is being developed on 1,300 acres in the foothills of the Black Mountain range in Henderson. The community is owned by Forest City Enterprises, Terry Johnston and American Nevada Corp.

* DEVELOPERS: Forest City is a national publicly traded real estate company headquartered in Cleveland. Its Silver Lakes community in southern Florida was named the best master-planned community in the country by the National Association of Home Builders in 1993. Also built the Galleria at Sunset mall in Henderson and is building the Showcase Mall on the Las Vegas Strip. Johnston is a Canadian developer known for building golf course communities in Hawaii and Canada. American Nevada, a Greenspun Inc. company, is the developer of Green Valley, the first master-planned community in Nevada, and Green Valley Ranch in Henderson.

* AMENITIES: An 18-hole, par-72 Rees Jones public championship golf course; 150 acres with nine community parks, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds and children's play equipment; 8 1/2 miles of pedestrian walkways including underground passageways and an amphitheater.

* STYLE DETAILS: Italian Renaissance and Spanish eclectic architectural themes; four exterior colors that harmonize with the mountain terrain; more than $11 million in landscaping including pine trees and flowers, rather than palm trees and cactus.

* LOCATION: Five miles south of the Las Vegas Strip and two miles west of Green Valley Ranch. The community entrance is located near the intersection of Lake Mead Drive at Eastern Avenue.

* SIZE: When complete, 25 neighborhoods with 3,600 homes, including 420 custom homes, on 410 acres. More than 30 percent of the total acreage will be open space.

* SALES AND INFORMATION PAVILION: Located at 1021 Seven Hills Drive, Henderson. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
