The event will be held outdoors on the grounds of Von Tobel Middle School.
Representatives from various hobby groups will introduce favorite hobbies including: model trains, kite flying, radio-controlled cars, planes and boats, model car building, chess, computers, music, outdoor sports, rock climbing, water crafts and more.
Instructors from Parks and Recreation classes offered at the center will exhibit techniques in martial arts, music, ballet, gymnastics and dance. Complete information on year-round classes and programs, summertime activities for children, aquatics programs and Clark County day camps will also be available during the event.
Free carnival games will be set up for the children and food will be sold by Von Tobel Middle School student clubs.
Community organizations will have information on Scouting, 4-H clubs, Kids in Action, the Rec Mobile and Cooperative Extension. County Commission Chairwoman Yvonne Atkinson Gates will host the opening ceremonies at 10:30 a.m.
