Will Ashe name one piece of legislation benefitting the working man that the GOP did not fight tooth and nail? These include unemployment insurance, disability payments, Social Security, job health and safety standards, the Job Corps, etc., you name it.
Ashe has every right in the world to send a substantial contribution to the party of his choice. As for me, a retired union man who knows all too well which side his paycheck was buttered on, I sent my contribution some time ago.
