Ellen Mae Blachley

Ellen Mae Blachley, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 2, 1915, in Arkansas. A resident for 10 years, she was a supervisor for a calculator company.

She is survived by three sons, James Hinshaw of Las Vegas, Richard Hinshaw of Florida and Kenneth Hinshaw of California; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Patrick Robert Ciciliano

Patrick Robert Ciciliano, 83, of Alamo died Wednesday in a Caliente medical center. He was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Colorado. A former Las Vegas resident for 54 years, he was a retired iron worker and a World War II Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Wayne Thomas; one great-grandson, Anthony Scott Ferguson Jr.; and two brothers, Charles Ciciliano and Tony Toni.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; three daughters, Faye Bundy and Patsy Ferguson, both of Alamo, and Cindy Roberts of Sigurd, Utah; one son, Gerald Ciciliano of Henderson; one sister, Rose Russell of Ontario, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon services Saturday at the Alamo LDS chapel. Burial will follow in Alamo Cemetery. Wiscombe Funeral Home Inc., 730 Front St., Caliente, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy I. Cohen

Dorothy I. Cohen, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 10, 1925, in Cleveland. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired secretary.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin I.; two sons, Ted Cohen of Sacramento and Ron Cohen of England; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Helen C. Domonkos

Helen C. Domonkos, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 19, 1919, in Hungary. A resident for more than 20 years, she was a nurse.

She is survived by her husband, William; two daughters, Susan Smith and Lorie Drew, both of Las Vegas; and one granddaughter.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Janie Hayes

Janie Hayes, 63, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 22, 1936, in Jourdanton, Texas. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by three daughters, Dr. Linda Lucio of Oklahoma City, Mary-Alice Morgan of Wichita, Kan., and Kimberly Caruso of Henderson; two sons, Randolph Barrow of Las Vegas and David Hayes of Henderson; one sister, Mary Gonzalez, and three brothers, Jesse Cantu, Santos Cantu and Joe Cantu, all of Gila Bend, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family suggests donations to Victory Christian Center, 6126 S. Sandhill Road, Las Vegas.

Richard Gates 'Rick' Huff III

Richard Gates "Rick" Huff III, 41, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 14, 1958, in Homestead, Fla. A resident for 39 years, he was involved in setting up trade shows and conventions, was a member of Teamsters Local 631 and enjoyed golfing and hunting.

He is survived by one daughter, Ariel Huff, his father and stepmother, Dick and Gloria Huff, his mother and stepfather, Jeanne Russo and Al Whalen, one sister, Camille Parucha, and one brother, Mark Huff, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. services Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Charles Ludwig

Charles Ludwig, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 6, 1923, in Wellsburg, W.Va. A resident for two years, he was a retired iron worker and a member of the Masons and Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Lou; three daughters, Billie Green of Albuquerque, N.M., Pamela Overbey of Las Vegas and Belinda Martinez of Phoenix; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Virginia Cameron Lyons

Virginia Cameron Lyons, 63, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 25, 1936, in Durham, N.C. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired bank customer service representative.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Marie Lyons; one son, Michael Lyons of Amsterdam; one sister, Dorothy Cameron of Durham; two brothers, Willie Johnson of Durham and Herman W. Cameron Jr. of Ypsilanti, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Unity Baptist Church, 545 N. Marion Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Michael T. Martin

Michael T. Martin, 67, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 6, 1932, in San Diego. A resident for 12 years, he was a general contractor and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one daughter, Deniece McGinnis of Henderson; two sons, Stephen S. Martin of Henderson and Michael Eric Martin of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Melanie Barrick of Provo, Utah; two sisters, Toni Gibson and Patricia Chard, both of Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, David J. Martin of Henderson; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to 2 p.m. services Wednesday in the Guilford LDS Relief Society Room, 1525 Guilford Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Klarke Le Roy Meyers

Klarke Le Roy Meyers, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1927, in Texas. A resident for 50 years, he was a casino executive.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two sons, Charles Meyers of Carthage, Texas, and Kim Meyers of Las Vegas; two daughters, Fayee Meyers of Las Vegas and Brenda Leber of Corcoran, Calif.; one brother, Clarence Meyers of Los Angeles; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-6 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Burchel 'Johnny' Miller

Burchel "Johnny" Miller, 76, of Las Vegas died Dec. 26 in a local hospital. He was born June 22, 1923, in Dyersburg, Tenn. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired hotel parking cashier and casino floorman, a World War II Navy veteran, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

He is survived by his companion, Jean Stinedurf of Las Vegas; and one brother, Thomas Miller of Clarksville, Ark.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Irene Payne

Irene Payne, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1933, in Bagley, Minn. A resident for 33 years, she was a retired waitress for 12 years at the Landmark hotel and 12 years at the Desert Inn.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; two children, both of Minnesota; two stepdaughters, Yvonne Watson of Las Vegas and Cheryl Witizle of Texas; one brother, Walter Melchert of Minnesota; and one grandchild.

Leandra C. Renteria

Leandra C. Renteria, 49, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 3, 1951, in Stahmann Farms, N.M. A resident for 27 years, she was an administrative assistant for an automobile company.

She is survived by her companion, Robert Granstrom of Las Vegas; her mother, Fidencia Renteria of El Paso, Texas; three brothers, Tony Renteria and Luis Renteria, both of Carlsbad, N.M., and Jesus Renteria of El Paso; and four sisters, Merci Montoya of Carlsbad, Carmen Valtierra of Chamberino, N.M., Alma Renteria of Albuquerque, N.M., and Patty Fournier of Yorba Linda, Calif.

Lourdes Nerecina Rodriguez

Lourdes Nerecina Rodriguez, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 29, 1920, in the Philippines. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Rosalinda Livioko and Chona Bernardo, both of Las Vegas, Pricilla Flo Jo of Chicago and Lourdes Livioko of the Philippines; one son, Gonzalo Rodriguez Jr. of Manila; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. services Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Henry Sherry

Henry Sherry, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 8, 1926, in Poland. A resident for nine years, he was a retired truck driver, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 705.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; one brother, one sister, and one aunt, all of Poland.

Marjorie Latta Phelan Spreen

Marjorie Latta Phelan Spreen, 88, of Green Pond, N.J., died Jan. 8 in North Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 9, 1911, in Paterson, N.J. A former resident of North Las Vegas for one year, she was a retired real estate agent.

She is survived by one son, Charles E. Phelan of Newbern, N.C.; one daughter, Barbara Cortright of Green Pond; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Debra Stephens

Debra Stephens, 44, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 2, 1955, in Kentucky. A resident for several years, she was a force management craftsman and an Air Force veteran.

She is survived by her husband, Dexter Wesley; and her parents, Charles and Elnora Stephens of Alexandria, La.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Louisiana. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
