John F. Bagot

John F. Bagot, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Palisade Park, N.J. A resident for 13 years, he was an Army veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Dorothy Weber of Miami; and two brothers, Robert Bagot of Miami and Frank Bagot of Coronado, Calif.

Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Zenna 'Zee' Bailey

Zenna "Zee" Bailey, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1919, in Missouri. A resident for 51 years, she was a retired hotel cocktail waitress.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Fisher of Henderson; one son, Bill Bailey of Reno; one sister, Dorris Holtzmann of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, John Muntain of Memphis, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Edward J. Coyle

Edward J. Coyle, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Philadelphia. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired Nevada supervisor of adult parole and probation, a retired Army chief warrant officer, a Korean War veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus and CIC.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Kathy Gunther of Seattle and Terry Probst of Columbia, S.C.; two sons, E.J. Coyle Jr. of Stephen City, Va., and Jimmy Coyle of Las Vegas; one sister, Jeannie Lesch of Bokeelia, Fla.; one brother, George Coyle of Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Louis Goldstein

Louis Goldstein, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local rehabilitation hospital. He was born Nov. 28, 1916, in Pittsburgh. A resident for seven years, he was a retired vending company owner-operator.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald G. Barron of Las Vegas and Melvin M. Goldstein of Atlanta; one daughter, Susan B. Alpert of Las Vegas; one brother, Al Goldstein of Walnut Creek, Calif.; three sisters, Helen Rosenbloom of Pittsburgh, Florence Liebling of Florida and Sally Silverman of Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

All services will be in Pittsburgh. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Donald C. Hunt

Donald C. Hunt, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1923, in Billings, Mont. A resident for one year, he was a retired cement worker and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Evelyn Eliasson of Roundup, Mont.

Samuel Hutchison

Samuel Hutchison, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 23, 1925, in Bolivar, Pa. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired painter for an automotive manufacturer, a World War II Army veteran, a former POW and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two stepdaughters, Dawn Kurywchak of Tempe, Ariz., and Diane Strandberg of Las Vegas; one son, Ken Ledene of Byron, Ill.; one brother, Raymond Hutchison of Ligonier, Pa.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the American Legion.

Louis K. Nussen

Louis K. Nussen, 51, of Las Vegas died May 25 in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born Feb. 28, 1949.

Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Curtis Oelrich

Curtis Oelrich, 46, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 22, 1953, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a mechanical insulator, past president of the Ironcrossmen Motorcycle Club and past financial secretary and treasurer of the Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local 135.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene; two daughters, Chemberyle Simoneau and Tara Longdo, both of Henderson; his mother, Beryl Oelrich, one sister, Pam Oelrich, and one brother, Glen Oelrich, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Charles 'Baldy' Ogan

Charles "Baldy" Ogan, 76, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Ottumwa, Iowa. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired carpenter, a World War II Army veteran who was awarded three Bronze Stars and fought in the Battle of the Bulge, was a member of the National Rifle Association and Carpenters Local 1780.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; one daughter, Helen M. Beard of Ridgecrest, Calif.; one son, Robert Ogan of Henderson; four sisters, Lois Madison of Malone, Wash., Eleanor Ballisiates of Tacoma, Wash., Janet Putnam of Capolis Beach, Wash., and Judy Dishman of Cawker City, Kan.; one brother, Richard Ogan of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 7:30 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Robert Peck

Robert Peck, 80, of Las Vegas died May 26 in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born Sept. 7, 1919.

He is survived by one son, Robert Peck of Las Vegas.

Mary E. Pinckeny

Mary E. Pinckeny, 101, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 6, 1898, in Michigan. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker, a volunteer for the Senior Center and received a Hundredth Birthday plaque from the mayor.

She is survived by two sons, Duane Pinckney of Page, Ariz., and Loren Pinckney of Susanville, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Edward F. Plowshay

Edward F. Plowshay, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday. He was born Dec. 19, 1923, in Elizabeth, N.J. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired supervisor for a paper manufacturer and a player for the New York Yankees in the late 1940s.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; two sons, Bruce Plowshay of Tampa, Fla., Rodney Plowshay of Plano, Texas; one daughter, Lorilei Plowshay of Clearwater, Fla.; one sister, Dorothy Carlino of New Jersey; and one grandchild.

Ray S. Reiner

Ray S. Reiner, 92, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 22, 1907, in New York City. A resident for many years, he was a salesman.

Valda Sgro

Valda Sgro, 95, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. She was born April 4, 1905, in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. A resident for 21 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by two brothers-in-law, Michael Sgro and Nichols Sgro, both of Las Vegas.

Bessie Snyder

Bessie Snyder, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 8, 1908, in Maryland. A resident for many years, she was a secretary.

James T. Violette II

James T. Violette II, 44, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1956, in Leominister, Mass. A resident for 17 years, he was a construction superintendent and a member of Boulder City Elks Lodge 1682.

He is survived by his companion, Virginia Zager of Henderson; two sisters, Denise Pitts of Washington state and Betty Jean Corkum of California; one brother, John P. Violette of California; and one aunt, Jerry Bissonnette of Boulder City.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Grace A. Virga

Grace A. Virga, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1912, in New York City. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Salvatore Virga of Las Vegas and Anthony Virga of New York City; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Viola Zumbrink

Viola Zumbrink, 98, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. She was born Aug. 26, 1901, in Louisville, Ky. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Sally Sietz of Tucson, Ariz., and Suzanne Strid of Monterey, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
