Carmen Bilotta

Carmen Bilotta, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born June 7, 1916, in Cincinnati. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired tailor and owner-operator of a dry cleaning establishment, a Navy veteran and a charter member of No. 3697 Knute Rockne of Downey, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Theda; two sons, Ted Bilotta of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and John Bilotta of Alisa Viejo, Calif.; two daughters, Janey Link of Franklin, Tenn., and Maralee Bilotta of Flushing, N.Y.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. rosary today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Donald Erwin Campbell

Donald Erwin Campbell, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 21, 1916, in Melford, Utah. A resident for 43 years, he was a railroad conductor and an Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; one daughter, Natalie Farnham of Las Vegas; three sons, Kevin Campbell, Donald Campbell and Stirling Campbell; and one sister, Dorothy Middleswart of Denver.

Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Cooper

Donald Charles Cooper, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 8, 1942, in Salt Lake City. A resident for six years, he was a women's clothing store owner-operator.

He is survived by his significant other, Larry Lassen of Las Vegas; his father, Charles Cooper of Thornton, Colo.; one brother, Larry Cooper of Las Vegas; and one sister, Katie Erickson of Grand Junction, Colo.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Raymond Horace Dietrich

Raymond Horace Dietrich, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 1, 1919, in Lincoln, Ill. A resident for 12 years, he retired as a motion picture director after 40 years, was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Directors Guild of America.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two sons, Steven Dietrich of Los Angeles and Michael Dietrich of Seattle; one brother, Donald Dietrich of Santa Barbara, Calif.; two sisters, Elsie Fillippini of Solvang, Calif., and Beverly Mathiesen of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private family arrangements.

Lena Divicino

Lena Divicino, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 1, 1908, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Angela Brooker-Cantrell of Las Vegas; two sons, Jerry Divincino of Las Vegas and Vincent Divincino of Alabama; one sister, Gemma Magnoli of Connecticut; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Judith A. Etchart

Judith A. Etchart, 54, of Pioche died Monday in a local hospital. A legal secretary, she was born Oct. 20, 1946, in Caliente.

She is survived by her husband, John R.

Burial will be in Pioche. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

John Fitzgerald Evans

John Fitzgerald Evans, 37, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 1, 1963, in Los Angeles. A resident for 11 years, he was a Clark County School District counselor/aide.

He is survived by three sons, John F. Evans Jr. and Kendall Cade Evans, both of Los Angeles and Treyveon Evans of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Erica O'Connor and Breeann May, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Gloria Ramey of Little Rock, Ark.; his father, Aubry Evans; four brothers, Bill Ramey, Asta Ramey, Donald Taylor and Leslie Hildreth, all of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Melvia Ramey and Yolonda Thomas, both of Las Vegas and LaSonja Harris of Colorado.

Visitation is scheduled 1-6 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday (location pending). Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Louvesta Hayes

Louvesta Hayes, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 27, 1929, in Foxworth, Miss. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired Desert Inn hotel-casino housekeeper from 1965-1983.

She is survived by her husband, Julius; two daughters, Gwendolyn Taylor and Jolynn Brewer, and four sons, Jerry J. Hayes, Lewis C. Hayes, Wayne Hayes and Jimmy D. Hayes, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Sybil Payton and Carol Saunders, both of Queens, N.Y.; two brothers, Kenneth Payton of Glendale, Ariz., and Lindzie Payton of Queens; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 6:30 p.m. service Friday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1189 W. Hassell Ave. Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Jerome Hildested

Jerome Hildested, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 15, 1941, in Wisconsin. A resident for many years, he was a hotel manager.

Larry G. Hilsabeck

Larry G. Hilsabeck, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born June 23, 1948, in Carroll, Iowa. A resident for 47 years, he was a hotel-casino baggage handler and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sandie; one son, Larry Lee Hilsabeck, one daughter, Sandra Nicole Hilsabeck, his mother, Darlene Hilsabeck, one sister, Phyllis Hilsabeck, two brothers, his twin Jerry Hilsabeck and Donavan Hilsabeck, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Elizabeth Kelderman

Elizabeth Kelderman, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 19, 1915, in Yugoslavia. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Radmila Manasewisch of Las Vegas; one son, Nicholas Kelderman of Utica, N.Y.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rhoda Kopitzki

Rhoda Kopitzki, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Sept. 2, 1924, in Detroit. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for Summa Corp.

Joe Lello

Joe Lello, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 4, 1905, in San Jose, Calif. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired hotel gardener, a Navy veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Lello and Victor Lello, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Tony Lello of Virginia; one sister, Grace Pizzo of California; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Essie W. Lewis

Essie W. Lewis, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 28, 1926, in Park Rose, Ore. A resident for 30 years, she was an anesthesia technician for Las Vegas Surgery Center.

She is survived by three sons, Ron Engel, George Engel and Rodney Engel, all of Oregon; and several grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Matheson

Douglas Wayne Matheson, 50, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 3, 1950, in Marshalltown, Iowa. A resident for 20 years, he was a casino supervisor at the Four Queens hotel-casino.

He is survived by two daughters, Crystal A. Leyendecker and Amber L. Matheson, both of Houston; his father, Robert H. Matheson of Jefferson, Iowa; his mother, Betty L. Altmaier of Toledo, Iowa; one sister, Connie Smith of Tama, Iowa; and one grandson.

Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling arrangements.

Betty B. Milnamow

Betty B. Milnamow, 97, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 1, 1904, in Manistee, Mich. A resident for 23 years, she was a bookkeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane S. Carney of Henderson; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Forrest John Morrow

Forrest John Morrow, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1937, in Texas. A resident for 17 years, he was an aircraft mechanic for Delta Airlines and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Diane; one son, Russell; five daughters, Johneen, Amy, Gabrielle, Rachael and Jennifer; one brother, Gerard A. Morrow; one sister, Ruth Arleen Stratton; and 14 grandchildren.

A memorial service was 11 a.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

William Parker

William Parker, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 21, 1919, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired foreman in the aerospace industry and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; two daughters, Linda Garbez of Capitola, Calif., and Carol Talpas of Las Cruces, N.M.; one son, William Parker Jr. of Santa Rosa, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Reformation Lutheran Church, 508 E. St. Louis Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.

Diane Peters, 43, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 28, 1957, in San Pedro, Calif. A resident for four years, she was an accountant.

She is survived by two sons, Matthew Peters and Michael Peters, and one daughter, Jennifer Peters, all of Henderson; her father, Roy Ferrin of San Pedro; her mother, Darlene Ferrin of Big Bear, Calif.; one brother, Doug Ferrin of San Diego; one sister, Debbie Shay of Fountain Valley, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Dale P. Quillin

Dale P. Quillin, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 23, 1932, in Minnesota. A resident for 22 years, he was a regional marketing manager for Cowles Media and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ora.

Ramiro Rodriguez

Ramiro Rodriguez, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. A telephone technician, he was born May 8, 1952, in Edinburg, Texas.

He is survived by one son, Ramiro Rodriguez Jr.

Arthur E. Schulz Sr.

Arthur E. Schulz Sr., 80, of Boulder City died Monday in a local health care center. He was born Oct. 10, 1920, in Pueblo, Colo. A resident for 15 years, he worked at St. Judes Ranch for Children in Boulder City, was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II and Korean War veteran and a member of the Boulder City Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; one daughter, Leta Cohn of Colorado; two sons, Arthur E. Schulz Jr. of California and Jim Smith of Washington state; one sister, Alice Wade of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Henry Steinberg, 83, of Las Vegas died April 30 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1917, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a clothing salesman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by two brothers, Barry and Irving; and one grandson.

Virginia "Virg" Vasak, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 19, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Sr.; two sons, Robert G. Vasak Jr. and Gary Vasak, both of Illinois; one daughter, Sharon Broadhead, and one brother, Charles Laska, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Vincentine C. Vincent, 98, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 11, 1902, in New York City. A resident for nine years, she was a retired New York Telephone Co. operator and a member of the New York Telephone Pioneers.

She is survived by one son, Jack W. Vincent, and one daughter, Carole LaRocca, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Josephine Handler of New Jersey; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service was 3 p.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St. Burial will be in New York City.
