Donald Ricky Bell

Donald Ricky Bell, 45, of Las Vegas died Oct. 18 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 26, 1955, in Las Vegas. A resident for 45 years, he was a cook/baker.

He is survived by one daughter, Shanika Bell, and one son, Ricky Bell Jr., both of Las Vegas; his mother, Lucille Bell, and one brother, Eddie Bell Jr., both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Darryl Lynn Bell and Anita Flores, both of Las Vegas, and Betty Thornton of Baton Rouge, La.; and three grandchildren.

Patricia Ann Berry

Patricia Ann Berry, 68, of Overton died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 17, 1933, in Fargo, Okla. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Escho; two daughters, Escalea Winburn and Brenda Dahl, and one son, Doyle Berry, all of Las Vegas; five sisters, Dorothy Ormerod of California, Helen Brewer of Oklahoma and Marian Crossland, Alice Jerome and Carol Borgens, all of Idaho; two brothers, John Mabey and Harry Mabey, both of Idaho; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Richard L. Byrne

Richard L. Byrne, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 1, 1935, in Grand Rapids, Mich. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired security chief for the Continental and Stratosphere hotels and a retired Air Force staff sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene P.; three sons, Richard L. Byrne Jr. of Las Vegas, Roy E. Byrne of Henderson and Patrick H. Byrne of Indiana; one daughter, Teena M. St. Aubin of Marshall, Minn.; four sisters, all of Michigan; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Joseph Costanzo

Joseph Costanzo, 68, of North Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 21, 1932, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired restaurateur and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Concetta; two sons, Joseph Costanzo of Las Vegas and Kenneth Costanzo of Portland, Texas; two stepsons, Anthony Arnold of Brooksville, Fla., and David Arnold of Salinas, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Brenda Arnold of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Frances Joyce of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Charles Wesley Davis

Charles Wesley Davis, 49, of Henderson died Thursday in Las Vegas. A heavy equipment operator, he was born June 27, 1952, in Big Bear, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters, Amy Johnson of Maryland and Donna Johnson of Virginia; one brother, Tom Dee of Las Vegas; two sisters, Debra Lester of Michigan and Naomi Susan Riley of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 4 p.m. services Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

Lucy Dickson

Lucy Dickson, 74, of North Las Vegas died Oct. 13 in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1927, in Ohio. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Elks.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Chase and Keith Chase; one daughter, Maria Cloake; three sisters, Pauline Rizzo, Eiffie Manos and Anna Kirman; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Virginia Mortimer Evans

Virginia Mortimer Evans, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A broker, she was born March 26, 1917, in Oregon.

She is survived by one son, Lee Evans of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Seattle. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Mary Mae Hargis

Mary Mae Hargis, 95, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 21, 1906, in Arkansas. A resident for 23 years, she was a restaurateur.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Barbara Hargis of Pahrump; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Loraine E. Heinen

Loraine E. Heinen, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Lewiston, Maine. A resident for 30 years, she was a hospital registered nurse and an Air Force veteran.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; and one son, Paul Heinen of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-6 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway.

Wallace G. 'Wally' Hulse

Wallace G. "Wally" Hulse, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1925, in Westhope, N.D. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired oil company plant manager and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Donna G.; one son, James Clayton Hulse of Park City, Utah; two daughters, Judy A. Clark and Jill Adair Stouard, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Dr. Estel Hulse of Minot, N.D.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Raymond Thompson Knilans

Raymond Thompson Knilans, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1916, in Delavan, Wis. A resident for 42 years, he was a Clark County School District teacher and a retired Navy commander.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; one son, Philip Knilans, and one daughter, Nancy Knilans, both of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Stephen J. Koscica

Stephen J. Koscica, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1957, in Biloxi, Miss. A resident for 16 years, he was a production assistant for a processing center.

He is survived by his mother, Catherine Koscica, and two sisters, Elizabeth Jensen and Allison Trosky, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, Joseph Koscica of Detroit.

Services will be 4 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Roland Lee Kunkel Sr.

Roland Lee Kunkel Sr., 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 9, 1918, in Shive, Texas. A resident for 11 years, he was a lead man for a tool and die shop, a World War II veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Moose Lodge 808 in Pahrump and Elks, past state president, past Nevada commander and past supreme commander of Military Order of Louse.

He is survived by his companion, Fran Wells Kunkel of Pahrump; two sons, Roland Jr. and David; three daughters, Dara Maxim, Sharon Gregory and Sue Cole; one brother, Elmo Kunkel; two sisters, Maybelle Johns and Daphine Menix; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Moose Lodge 808 in Pahrump. Burial will be in Los Angeles. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, Pahrump, is handling arrangements.

Edward V. Lamanno

Edward V. Lamanno, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 12, 1944, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for six years, he owned and operated a tax preparing business, was a member of the Italian American Club and was ham radio operator KK7BV.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; his mother, Florence Lamanno of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Marion Kuhns of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Donna Linzey of Irvine, Calif.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Tony Lappa

Tony Lappa, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 15, 1926, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, he was a trucking company dock worker and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean; three sons, Michael of Chicago and Robert Anthony and Robert Blake, both of Connecticut; one sister, Irene Rouba of Chicago; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Darren Wayne Linville

Darren Wayne Linville, 29, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A laborer, he was born Sept. 26, 1972, in Oklahoma.

He is survived by his mother, Deana (Davis) Ellis of Tulsa, Okla.

David R. MacFarlane

David R. MacFarlane, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Caro, Mich. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired civil service aircraft technician, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of American Federation of Government Employees and watermaster for the Hillcrest Water Association.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; three sons, John MacFarlane and Stephen MacFarlane, both of Las Vegas, and Donald MacFarlane of Kailua, Hawaii; one daughter, Nancy Ahey of Las Vegas; his father, Duncan MacFarlane of Manhattan, Kan.; three sisters, Carol Cornwell of Salina, Kan., and Jeanette MacFarlane and Barbara MacFarlane, both of Kansas; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Edward Charles MacIntosh, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Philadelphia. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired Air Force airframe technician.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two sons, Dale MacIntosh and Bruce Charles MacIntosh; one daughter, Donna L. Fernandes; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Golvie J. McNeel

Golvie J. McNeel, 92, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1909, in Paragould, Ark. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired clothing seamstress.

She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Thompson of Las Vegas and Cherry Allison of Ely; two sons, Ray Moore and Francis Moore, both of Las Vegas; three stepdaughters, Shirley Ahlke of Houston and Hazel Mabry and Rachel Smith, both of Las Vegas; five stepsons, Jim McNeel of Defiance, Ohio, Charles McNeel, Clark McNeel and Bill McNeel, all of Las Vegas, and Bobby McNeel of Yucaipa, Calif.; 30 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Loren D. Miller, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Hamburg, Iowa. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired restaurant worker at the Las Vegas Club and the Castaways, a World War II Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by two sons, Robert D. Miller of LaPorte, Colo., and Thomas K. Miller of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Shelton of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Miller of Ogden, Utah; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Robert D. Morton

Robert D. Morton, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 8, 1945, in Massachusetts. A resident for 15 years, he was self-employed in Universal Tubs and Sink Formica.

He is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Carroll and Hawley Moore.

Dr. Raymond C. Rhees

Dr. Raymond C. Rhees, 87, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 29, 1914, in Pleasant View, Utah. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired research chemist, a recipient of the American Hero Award, a member of the American Chemical Society, an LDS stake presidency, a member of the stake High Council and was a stake patriarch.

He is survived by his wife, Fawn; two daughters, Lynnette Bushman of Henderson and Suzanne Shamo of Boulder City; three sons, Kent Rhees of Henderson, David Rhees of Mesa, Ariz., and Tom Rhees of West Point, Utah; 35 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Wednesday in the LDS Buchanan chapel, Boulder City.

Edward P. Roy, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 7, 1920, in Whittier, Calif. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a data processing company and a World War II Navy pilot.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnne R.; three sons, Stephen P. Roy of Glendale, Calif., Gregory E. Roy of Palmdale, Calif., and James H. Roy of Monrovia, Calif.; one daughter, Laura A. Wilhelm of Butte, Mont.; one sister, Marilyn Ann Christie of Scio, Ore.; and 12 grandchildren.

Dan J. Tapp, 46, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 13, 1955, in Red Bank, N.J. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired freelance carpenter.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Tapp, and two brothers, Charles Tapp and Wayne Tapp, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lorrie Tapp of Las Vegas and Linda Varona of Bakersfield, Calif.

She is survived by one son, Richard O'Bringer of Las Vegas; one daughter, Tracy O'Bringer Masden of Grand Junction, Colo.; two sisters, Jennifer Perry of Massillon, Ohio, and Rose McCreery of Dickinson, Texas; and two grandchildren.
