Richard Kenneth Ayersman

Richard Kenneth Ayersman, 55, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born June 7, 1947, in Morgantown, W.Va. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired city government waste treatment operator, a Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a member of Ka Poe O Ka Aina Hawaiian Club and Las Vegas City Employees Association.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; three daughters, Mary Kim of Tulsa, Okla., and Helena Ayersman and Jennifer Ayersman-Araujo, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Jeremiah Kaniaupio, Richard Ayers and Matthew Ayersman, and his parents, Emily and Glenn Hare, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Donna Bartlett of Greeley, Colo., and Karen Stevens of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sheldon 'Bud' Berg

Sheldon "Bud" Berg, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born July 17, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for 12 years, he was a plumber and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Julie L.; one daughter, Karyn Fallon of Pembroke, N.H.; one son, Michael Berg of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Ruth E. Bradford

Ruth E. Bradford, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 23, 1928, in South Bend, Ind. A resident for 20 years, she was a waitress at Circus Circus.

She is survived by her husband, Carl J.; three daughters, Pamela Miller and Jody Bradford, both of San Carlos, Calif., and Lisa Bradford of Las Vegas; three sons, Mark Bradford of Palmdale, Calif., Kirk Bradford of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Michael Bradford of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 2:30 p.m. service today in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will be in Indiana. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Donald D. Brooks

Donald D. Brooks, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 5, 1924, in South Bend, Ind. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a retail sales business and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Laura E.; one son, Donald Asmus of Florida; one daughter, Alyse Fisher, and two sisters, Beverley and Marcella, all of Indiana; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 8-9:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Steven Henry Creber

Steven Henry Creber, 35, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 25, 1967, in Laguna Beach, Calif. A resident for two years, he was a traffic supervisor for Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Ellen Creber of Bend, Ore.; his father and stepmother, Robert and LouAnn Creber of Phoenix; and one brother, Michael Robert Creber of Henderson.

A private burial at sea is pending. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Raymona L. Ellsworth

Raymona L. Ellsworth, 79, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 12, 1923, in Wichita, Kan. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Fred C.; three sons, Randall Richardson of Novato, Calif., Rodney Richardson of Buckley, Wash., and Robert Richardson of Kent, Wash.; one brother, Robert Fisher of Denver; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Roy Dean Fairbanks Sr.

Roy Dean Fairbanks Sr., 67, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 10, 1936, in Pioche. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired millwright for a titanium producer, an Air Force veteran, a member of the United Steel Workers Union and Southern Nevada Off-Road Enthusiasts.

He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Bramlett of Moriarty, N.M., Judy Brittain of Lubbock, Texas, and Robyn Shipman of Henderson; three sons, Roy Fairbanks Jr. and Ralph Fairbanks, both of Henderson, and Dennis Fairbanks of Jamison, Ala.; one brother, Rex Fairbanks, and one sister, Carol Stewart, both of Henderson; 23 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Molly Green

Molly Green, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born June 11, 1923, in New York City. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Irving; two sons, Steven Green of Henderson and Gary Green of Madison, Conn.; one brother, Herman Sager of New York City; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Fuad Hanna

Fuad Hanna, 87, of Las Vegas died May 19 in Mission Viejo, Calif. He was born July 2, 1915, in Egypt. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired from the Army and owned the Hanna Co., a business that serviced the military.

He is survived by one sister, Theresa Hanna of Boston.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Billy Jones Sr.

Billy Jones Sr., 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born June 21, 1935, in Lawton, Okla. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired senior custodian for the Parks Department.

He is survived by his wife, Louise "Pat"; one daughter, Patricia Woods of Riverside, Calif.; two sons, Billy Jones Jr. and Vincent Jones, both of Las Vegas; one brother, John Jones of Wilburton, Okla.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Athalie 'Tillie' Klemann

Athalie "Tillie" Klemann, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 11, 1915, in Bay City, Texas. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired oil company secretary.

She is survived by one son, Ray Klemann of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Ronald Lee Parker

Ronald Lee Parker, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 1, 1935, in Washington, D.C. A resident for eight years, he was a retired Navy veteran who served 23 years.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; one son, Alan Parker of Arizona; one daughter, Deborah Parker-Macy's of Houston; one sister, Gerry Irwin of Maryland; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Anita Reitmaier

Anita Reitmaier, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 6, 1928, in Munich, Germany. A resident for 14 years, she was an aestitician at a beauty salon.

She is survived by her husband, Vladimir; one daughter, Claudia Reitmaier of Las Vegas; two sons, Richard Meitmaier of Memphis, Tenn., and Christopher Reitmaier of Las Vegas; one brother, Maximilian Joseph Renner of Sydney, Australia; and four grandchildren.

Goldie Lee Shadoan

Goldie Lee Shadoan, 57, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 13, 1936, in Kentucky.

She is survived by three sons, William T. Shadoan, Rick Shadoan and Douglas Shadoan, and one daughter, Sharon Bucholz, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Leo Burgan of Florida, Donald Burgan of Kentucky and Earl Burgan of Nevada; one sister, Edith Mae Burgan of Tennessee; and five grandchildren.

Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.

Douglas M. Stoker

Douglas M. Stoker, 68, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 23, 1935, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired educational administrator.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Gower Stoker; one daughter, Sylvia Denning, and three sons, Douglas Craig Stoker, Mitchell Stoker and Kent Gower Stoker, all of Henderson; two brothers, Lamar Stoker of Henderson and Wayde Stoker of Las Vegas; and 16 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Thursday in the 5th Street LDS Chapel Relief Society Room. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Busena 'Betty' Vasquez-Escobar

Busena "Betty" Vasquez-Escobar, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, she was a retired social worker.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; four sons, Ronald Escobar, Varner Escobar and Waco Escobar, all of Havasu Lake, Calif., and Elk Escobar of Las Vegas; two sisters, Loretta Fixel of Henderson and Leona Gordon of Havasu Lake; three brothers, Carmen Patrick, Max Patrick and Michael Vasquez, all of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services and burial will be in Lake Havasu.
