Stephanie A. Adams

Stephanie A. Adams, 37, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 3, 1966, in Oxnard, Calif. A resident for five years, she was a retail sales associate.

She is survived by her parents, Jessie and Vera Adams of Las Vegas; one sister, Deloris Adams Demps of San Diego; one brother, Mitchell Ross Adams of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Willie R. Jackson of Oxnard.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Wednesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Robert V. Bartlett

Robert V. Bartlett, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A retired head custodian and an Air Force veteran, he was born June 17, 1938, in Pittsfield, Mass.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; one daughter, Christina McGarran of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main.

LaVerne M. Corsaut

LaVerne M. Corsaut, 67, of Pahrump died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Carroll, Iowa. A resident for nine years, he was a retired avionics instructor for McDonnell-Douglas and a retired Air Force veteran who served for 21 years.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda M.; three sons, Steven L. Corsaut of Pahrump, Tony Corsaut of Burkburnett, Texas, and Dane A. Corsaut of Palm Desert, Calif.; two sisters; four brothers; and 14 grandchildren.

Full military graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, is handling arrangements.

Patricia Ann Fenton

Patricia Ann Fenton, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born March 26, 1926, in Philadelphia. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, John S.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Marion W. Finch

Marion W. Finch, 94, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Hamilton, Ontario. A resident for 10 years, she was an administrative assistant in the perfume industry.

She is survived by one daughter, Maurine G. Finch of Las Vegas.

Raymond G. Frank

Raymond G. Frank, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. A retired hotel desk clerk, he was born July 13, 1918, in Syracuse, N.Y.

He is survived by his wife, Esther.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Theresa Gerontakos

Theresa Gerontakos, 64, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 26, 1939, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired federal government data entry instructor and worked at Railroad Pass casino for 20 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Gerontakos of Henderson; one son, Theodore Gerontakos of Seattle; three sisters, Delores Mannino of Rosenberg, Texas, Kathleen Nicoletti of San Diego and Patricia Fallon of New York; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

Leona Kane

Leona Kane, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A co-owner of a gift shop, she was born Aug. 6, 1920, in Indiana.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Jack Kane of Las Vegas.

Ronald Kuhn

Ronald Kuhn, 52, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1950, in San Antonio. A resident for nine years, he was a computer technician in the communications industry.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; one son, David Kuhn of Kingman, Ariz.; his mother, Virginia Kuhn of Sun City, Ariz.; one sister, Dorlee Thompson of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Mari Lou LaQuerre

Mari Lou LaQuerre, 49, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1953, in Missouri. A resident for nine months, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by her companion, Richard Graham of Las Vegas; two daughters, Sunshine Jessen of Henderson and Michelle Williams of Missouri; one son, Alvin Jessen; two brothers, George Twigger Jr. and Jim Twigger, both of Missouri; and one granddaughter.

Thomas Marvulli

Thomas Marvulli, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1949, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, he was a front-desk representative at the Las Vegas Hilton.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; one son, Thomas J. Marvulli Jr. of Las Vegas; and one sister, Lauren Naccarato of New York.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way.

John William 'Jack' Moore Jr.

John William "Jack" Moore Jr., 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born June 24, 1951, in San Fernando, Calif. A resident for 46 years, he was an MGM Grand chef.

He is survived by two daughters, Shandra Burgess of Indiana and Katherine Moore of Las Vegas; one son, John William Moore III of Massachusetts; four sisters, Jean Trefes of Rhode Island and Ruth Kiley, Marilyn Hill and Jackie Marsh, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated 5 p.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

John J. Neuer

John J. Neuer, 81, of Washington died Thursday in Washington. A former resident of Henderson, he came to Nevada in 1961 where he served as director of operations, Test Command DASA at the Nevada Test Site. He continued at the Test Site as senior staff engineer, Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, until his 1988 retirement. He was a retired Air Force colonel.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kowalczyk-Neuer; two daughters, Lee-ann Holland of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Patricia Best of Naples, Texas; one son, John J. Neuer Jr. of San Jose, Calif.; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Services will be on Bainbridge Island. Kass Funeral Home, Bainbridge, handled arrangements.

Karen Richardson

Karen Richardson, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 30, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired home health care giver.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; one daughter, Michelle Richardson of Pahrump; and two sisters, Jackie Frankenfield and Eva Lyons, both of New Jersey.

William Donald Smith

William Donald Smith, 70, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 28, 1933, in Uniontown, Pa. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean War, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Association of Retired Persons, Bass Masters and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise; three daughters, Donna Fox of Washington state, and Darlene Hart and Candy Kolasky, both of Las Vegas; one son, William Smith of Garden Grove, Calif.; five sisters, Shelby Lawrence, Mildred Bergman and Connie Burga, all of Ohio, and Ruth Smith and Mary Eddie, both of West Virginia; seven brothers, David Smith of Las Vegas, Edward Smith of Virginia, Robert Smith of West Virginia, James Smith of Kentucky, Paul Yarnevich of Pennsylvania, Karl Hager of Texas and Larry Hager of Florida; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Thomas John Szymanski

Thomas John Szymanski, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born April 20, 1940, in Illinois. A resident for 12 years, he was a steel worker, an Army veteran and a poker player known as "Chicago Tom."

He is survived by two sons, John Szymanski and Joe Szymanski; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-5 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Richard Merlin Voorhees

Richard Merlin Voorhees, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 19, 1944, in Corning, N.Y. A resident for nine years, he was a welder and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Isabella Rose Downs, and one brother, Phillip Lee Vorhees, both of Las Vegas.

Mary Walczyk

Mary Walczyk, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for nine years, she was born Aug. 9, 1916, in Auburn, N.Y.

She is survived by one brother, George Stefanak of Auburn; and one sister, Marge Yanchisin of Las Vegas.

Gladys H. Walker, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 10, 1926, in Teaneck, N.J. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired federal government executive secretary.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Walker; one daughter, Cynthia W. Prather of Miami; one son, Dr. Jim Walker of Yuma, Ariz.; one sister, Florence Bromhead of Bawley Point, Australia; and four grandsons.

Ruth L. Wells, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Illinois. A resident for four years, she was a merchandise supervisor.

She is survived by four daughters, Karen Kendall, Phyllis Stephens, Kathy Broyles and Sheri Johnson; one brother, Carl Edwards; one sister, Ileen Weidner; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Celastine Woods

Celastine Woods, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 4, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Howard; two sons, Clyde Woods of Columbus, Ohio, and Don A. Hayine of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Thursday with a 1 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
