Marion H. Atherton

Marion H. Atherton, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A homemaker, she was born March 24, 1940, in New York City.

She is survived by her husband, Edward E.

Leslie D. Belford

Leslie D. Belford, 48, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 6, 1955, in Inglewood, Calif. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker and co-founder of Worldfolk Foundation.

She is survived by her husband, Rod; one daughter, Samantha Graham, and her mother, Celeste Graham, both of Las Vegas; her father, Harold Teeters of Evergreen, Colo.; two sisters, Cyndi Gomez of Las Vegas and Wendy Taheri of Bloomington, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Sunday in Sunset Park, Area C. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Alice Marie Custer

Alice Marie Custer, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 6, 1921, in New Bedford, Mass. A resident for 48 years, she was a retired civil servant and a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Jones of Las Vegas; two sons, Steve A. Custer of Las Vegas and Rich Custer of Winnemucca; three brothers, Gilbert Rodrigues of Lovelock, Joe Rodrigues of Las Vegas and Albert Rodrigues of Chicago; two sisters, Inez Ciarlantini of Tonopah and Gloria Cooney of Battle Mountain; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Dorothy S. Dalaimo

Dorothy S. Dalaimo, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1929, in San Francisco. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired administrative assistant and a member of the Club Italia of Las Vegas.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice; one son, Larry Souza of Royal Oaks, Calif.; one daughter, Lori Prickett of Bakersfield, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Janet D'Amato of Diamond Bar, Calif., and JoAnn Dalaimo and Judy Frost, both of Las Vegas; one stepson, Murry Dalaimo of Las Vegas; one sister, Catherine Freselli of Bakersfield; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Mona Dujmovic

Mona Dujmovic, 52, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born July 15, 1950, in Watertown, S.D. A resident for eight years, she was a seamstress.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; one son, Anthony Dujmovic of Salt Lake City; one daughter, Tiffany Boudreau of North Las Vegas; her father, Curtis Luginbill, and one sister, Marilynn Sanders, both of Eastman, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Monday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4051 N. Cimarron Road. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

David Lee Fantauzzi

David Lee Fantauzzi, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 21, 1948, in Wheeling, W.Va. A resident for 44 years, he was an appraiser for the Clark County Assessor's office.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rosemary; and three brothers, Fred Fantauzzi of Springfield, Mo., and Sam Fantauzzi and Frank Fantauzzi, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Saturday in the Cheyenne/Mustang LDS Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Larry A. Farnsworth

Larry A. Farnsworth, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Bunkerville. A resident for 60 years, he was a residential designer licensed by the architect board, a Korean War Army veteran, a graduate of Las Vegas High School, worked for the highway department, Nevada Power, owned Farnsworth Co., elected to the board and served as secretary and vice president of Las Vegas Valley Water Board and served as activity chairman for the Boulder Dam Area Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marolyn; one son, Larkin A. Farnsworth of Las Vegas; one daughter, Janette Crowl of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; two brothers, Darwin Farnsworth of Bella Vista, Ark., and Wayne Farnsworth of Las Vegas; one sister, Naureen Swapp of St. George, Utah; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday at the Eighth and Franklin Relief Society Room. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Grace A. Freburger

Grace A. Freburger, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1917, in Belvidere, Neb. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired home care provider for a nursing service.

She is survived by three daughters, Carol Haycock of Chehalis, Wash., Ronda Timpane of Pomona, Calif., and Debra Spier of Durant, Okla.; three sons, Wiley Doss of Garden Grove, Calif., Gary Doss of El Paso, Texas, and Ronald Doss of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jeanette G. Heinowitz, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 2, 1917, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for one month, she was a retired secretary.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Sattler of Las Vegas; one brother, Dr. Sam Gilbert of Encino, Calif.; and one grandson.

Herbert Klausner, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A retail salesman, he was born Oct. 13, 1932, in New York.

He is survived by his friend, Victor Koloma of Las Vegas.

Roger W. Lambert

Roger W. Lambert, 72, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 29, 1930, in Manchester, N.H. A resident for 46 years, he was a dice boxman in the gaming industry, a veteran of the National Guard and a 32nd degree Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel; one son, Gregg Lambert of Vancouver, Wash.; one adopted son, Thomas Lambert of Rome, N.Y.; one stepson, James Abbott, and two stepdaughters, Vickie Johnson and Julia Clemmons, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Lucille Lacerte of Manchester, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be noon Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Marcella McCabe, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A factory worker, she was born Jan. 27, 1912, in Elizabeth, Ill.

She is survived by one son, Charles McCabe Jr. of Elizabeth; and one daughter, Joan Hobson of Portland, Ore.

Anna Marie Osmann

Anna Marie Osmann, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 27, 1916. A resident for many years, she was a cashier in the gaming industry, a member of the German-American Club and Culinary Union.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley S. Wielb.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 E. Desert Inn Road.

Marion H. Potter, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 1, 1917, in Henrietta, Okla. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Guy Potter of Las Vegas; two daughters, Hannah Potter of Bakersfield, Calif., and Amy Potter of Ridgecrest, Calif.; one brother, Don Wilson of San Carlos, Calif.; two sisters, Eva Tromble of Michigan and Nancy Perkins of Bradenton, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 3 p.m. service Monday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

George W. Shell

George W. Shell, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 31 years, he was a mailman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Judy Wiest of Trinidad, Calif.

Charlie Will Smith

Charlie Will Smith, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 8, 1930, in Carthage, Ark. A resident for 49 years, he was a laborer.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie Lee; two daughters, Margaret Howard and Rosslyn A. Brass, both of Las Vegas; five sons, Ralph Smith and Derax Smith, both of Las Vegas and Rex E. Smith, Phillip R. Smith and Joseph L. Smith, all of North Las Vegas; three brothers, O.C. Smith of Las Vegas, Jessie J. Smith of San Francisco and George W. Smith of North Las Vegas; four sisters, Katherine Ellis, Bertha Walker and Bennie Cook, all of Perris, Calif., and Algerine Evans of North Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Harriett Anne Smith, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born July 28, 1929, in Pennsylvania. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Keith; two daughters, Kathleen and Helen; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Lewis Whitney

Lewis Whitney, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday. A security systems owner-operator and a World War II Navy veteran, he was born Nov. 15, 1914, in New York City.
