Kenneth Anderson

Kenneth Anderson, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 25, 1926, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retired transportation supervisor and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie; four sons, Curtis Anderson, Vincent M. Anderson, Kenny A. Anderson and Ken Curtis Anderson, two daughters, Jeannette Anderson and Kadie A. Anderson, and one sister, Imogene Domingo, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Thursday in the LDS Heritage Park chapel. A graveside service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in the Paiute Reservation cemetery. Graveside services will be 7 a.m. Friday at the Paiute cemetery.

Tho Trieu Cao

Tho Trieu Cao, 19, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 3, 1984, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a gardener.

He is survived by his father, Tho T. Cao, and his mother, Idelisa Pavon, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 6-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

John D. Clifton

John D. Clifton, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired Air Force officer and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, past grand master of Grand Lodge F&AM, a member of Las Vegas Lodge 32, St. John Lodge 18 in Pioche, Zelzah Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite Bodies, Las Vegas York Rite Bodies, Chaman Grotto, Research Lodge 2, Las Vegas, Legion of Honor, White Shrine of Jerusalem, South Gate 18 Eastern Star, grand chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Anointed Kings (Silver Trowel) and Holy Order of High Priesthood.

He is survived by his wife, Helen M.; three sons, Scott Clifton of Lewis Center, Ohio, Todd Clifton of Las Vegas and Jeffrey Clifton of Carmel, Calif.; two daughters, Tracey Fitzpatrick and Kelly Stafford, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Lois Lawton of San Diego; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Mary Ellen Devaney

Mary Ellen Devaney, 102, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 17, 1900, in Ireland. A resident for many years, she was a punch press operator at a heating company.

She is survived by one daughter, Norine Mayers of Evergreen Park, Ill.; and one son, William Devaney of Las Vegas.

Burial will be in Worth, Ill. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Charles Reese Edwards

Charles Reese Edwards, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 9, 1927, in Milledgeville, Ga. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired Navy chief warrant officer 3C, World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; one daughter, Koria Edwards, and two sons, Kenny Edwards and Kelly Edwards, all of Mississippi; one sister, Polly of Virginia; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Lohny J. Elmore Sr.

Lohny J. Elmore Sr., 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 6, 1926, in Magnolia, Ark. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the parks department and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Nettie; two daughters, Donna Staats of Greenwood, Ind., and Janice Heller of Madison, Wis.; one son, Lohny Elmore Jr. of Reno; one sister, Faye Greenwell of Sunland, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Josephine D. Fernandez

Josephine D. Fernandez, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 13, 1923, in Montrose, Colo. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Sisto; two sons, Robert and Paul; four daughters, Isabel Rael, Aurora Romero, Adela Padilla and Dorothy Valdez; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 11:20 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Gregory Godon

Gregory Godon, 46, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born May 11, 1957, in Glendale, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a contractor and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jane; two sons, Kenneth Godon and Christian Godon, both of Henderson; his mother, Lorraine Mary Godon of Placerville, Calif.; one sister, Maureen Rose of Idyllwild, Calif.; and one brother, Gary Stevan Godon of Lincoln, Calif.

A memorial service was scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Barbara Ann Hart

Barbara Ann Hart, 58, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born March 25, 1945, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 15 years, she was disabled.

She is survived by one brother, Thomas A. Brown of California; her stepmother, Kay Brown, one stepsister, Marcia Atkinson, and one stepbrother, Jim Guillon, all of Texas.

Leslye Gaye Hendricks

Leslye Gaye Hendricks, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in California. She was born Oct. 17, 1949, in Las Vegas. A resident for more than 20 years, she was a change girl at local casinos.

She is survived by one son, Eric; her mother, Adele; and two sisters, Denise and Ronda.

Roy F. Hollister

Roy F. Hollister, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 28, 1935, in Alton, Ill. He was a retired general manager and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela; two daughters, Shellie and Stacy; and one son, Roy.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Friday in the LDS Cimarron Ward. Graveside services will follow at noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Genevieve Lange

Genevieve Lange, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 2, 1919, in Sharon, Pa. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired retail saleswoman.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; one daughter, Lorna Bonyhadi of Fresno, Calif.; and two grandsons.

James Joseph Lenehan

James Joseph Lenehan, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Henderson. He was born June 26, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Kelly White of Orlando, Fla., and Donna Miller of Las Vegas; one son, James Lenehan of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Thornton of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Pamela Beth McLain

Pamela Beth McLain, 48, of Las Vegas died Friday. A homemaker, she was born May 15, 1955, in Chicago.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; two daughters, Erica Rigel and Erin Rigel, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Susan Henson of Mount Hope, Ala.

James Monroe Murchison

James Monroe Murchison, 85, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 17, 1918, in Vandervoort, Ark. A resident for 57 years, he was a retired property manager for the federal government and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Bonnie McEwan, and one son, James P. Murchison, both of Henderson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses-Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

John M. Oakes

John M. Oakes, 21, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. A valet parking supervisor, he was born July 14, 1982, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Whalen; his father and stepmother, Michael and Leslie Oakes, and two brothers, Thomas Oakes and Dylan Lee Oakes, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Irwin 'Irv' Pearlstein

Irwin "Irv" Pearlstein, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 3, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 30 years, he was a card dealer.

He is survived by two brothers, Perry Pearlstein of Henderson and Jules Pearlstein of Las Vegas; and one sister, Connie Pearlstein of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 8-8:45 a.m. Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Graveside services will follow at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Melvin Segal, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A retired hotel catering manager and a Korean War Air Force veteran, he was born June 13, 1931, in New York City.

He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Segal of Las Vegas; two sons, Joel Segal of Las Vegas and Douglas Segal of Crescent Springs, Ky.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 8-9:30 a.m. Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Graveside services will follow at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Alicia J. Seinfeld, 71, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 7, 1931, in New York. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Seymour.

Raymond C. Steiber

Raymond C. Steiber, 64, of Pahrump died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired construction foreman and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by one son, Ray Steiber of Henderson; one daughter, Debbie Steiber-Clawson of Las Vegas; his mother, Catherine Steiber of Queens, N.Y.; one brother, Ricky Steiber of New York; and six grandchildren.

Michael W. Stokey

Michael W. Stokey, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1918, in Shreveport, La. A resident for five years, he was a retired television producer and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Stokey II of Las Vegas and Skip Stokey of Redondo Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Barbara Mangano of Las Vegas and Suzy Stokey of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Lucile L. Warren, 91, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 8, 1911, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for two months, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, William D.; three daughters, Eileen McVeigh of Huntington Beach, Calif., Nancy Warren of Irvine, Calif., and Judy Warren Vasiliauskas of Henderson; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Gae C. Wills, 55, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born May 15, 1948, in New York. A resident for 41 years, she was a government postal clerk.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; one son, Brian Pool, and one daughter, Tiffany Allgood, both of Nevada; and three grandchildren.
