Lavern Clark

Lavern Clark, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 15, 1919, in Napoleon, Ohio. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; and one son, James Weitzel of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Julian D. Cutolo

Julian D. Cutolo, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. He was born May 23, 1933, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired police officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; two sons, Frank Cutolo and Russ Cutolo, and two daughters, JoAnne Cutolo and Jeanette Cutolo, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Frank Cutolo Jr. and James Cutolo, both of New York, and Robert Cutolo of Queens, N.Y.; one sister, Clara Cutolo of Queens; and five grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Susie Fairfax

Susie Fairfax, 101, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 1, 1902, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 81 years, she was a retired housekeeper in private homes.

She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Page, and two sons, Steve Fairfax Jr. and Samuel Evans, all of Las Vegas; and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.

James Elwood Glodfelter

James Elwood Glodfelter, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1951, in Pennsylvania. A lifelong resident, he was a carpenter and a member of Glazers Local 159.

He is survived by three daughters, Candice Glodfelter, Erica Glodfelter and Summer Glodfelter, two brothers, John Glodfelter and Jeffrey Glodfelter, and two sisters, Janice Glodfelter and Jackie Glodfelter, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will be private.

Marshall Edward Godron III

Marshall Edward Godron III, 22, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 11, 1981, in Walnut Creek, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was a carpenter and a 1999 graduate of Green Valley High School.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Barbara Godron of Henderson; two sisters, Prudence Kowalski of Las Vegas and Priscilla Godron of Henderson; and his grandparents, Marshall and Hazel Godron of Henderson and Jeannette Smith of Browns Mills, N.J.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Connie L. Howren

Connie L. Howren, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1938, in Keokuk, Iowa. A resident for 17 years, she was a telephone company operator for 30 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Lisa McAllister of Keokuk, Jamie Horen of Kahoka, Mo., and Stacy Howren of Las Vegas; two sons, Brian Howren of Las Vegas and Lenny Francis of Keokuk; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.

Carolyn Diane Jackson

Carolyn Diane Jackson, 46, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1956, in England. A resident for 34 years, she was a real estate agent, a member of the Las Vegas Board of Realtors and a 1974 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School.

She is survived by one daughter, Krystal; her parents, Francis and Margaret Jackson, and four brothers, John Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Jim Jackson and Ed Jackson Jr., all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Ann Jackson of Alabama and Kathy "Bunny" Jackson of Colorado; and her friend, Kerry Keltner.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Joseph P. Lussier

Joseph P. Lussier, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 9, 1937, in Rhode Island. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee and a member of the American Model Association.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette R.; three sons, Michael Lussier, Paul Lussier and David Lussier, all of Rhode Island; one daughter, Lee Lussier of California; three sisters, Madeline Fowler of Las Vegas, Vivian Latham of Alabama and Janice Lussier of California; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Adeline A. Murphy-Eltrich

Adeline A. Murphy-Eltrich, 97, of Boulder City died Monday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 3, 1906, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Georgia Sigurdson, and one son, Fred D. Eltrich, both of Boulder City; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Vickie Lee Peterson

Vickie Lee Peterson, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1953, in Los Angeles. A resident for 40 years, she was a controller in the construction industry and former Weblows den mother.

She is survived by three sons, James Andrews, Douglas Andrews and Matthew Peterson, her mother, Helen Peterson, one sister, Terry Sifuentes, and two brothers, Ricky Peterson and Guy Peterson, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Andy Thomas

Andy Thomas, 78, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired musician and a member of the Los Angeles and Las Vegas Musicians unions.

He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Marie Ruiz of Henderson; and two granddaughters.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Roy L. Tussey

Roy L. Tussey, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Muncie, Ind. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired FBI agent and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; five daughters, Barbara Ann Perry of Oklahoma City, Mary Lee Shucart of Overland Park, Kan., Dorothy Jean Morton of Fairway, Kan., and Jo Ellen Sawaya and Linda Lu Garrett, both of Las Vegas; one son, Jonathan Tussey of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until a 7 p.m. vigil Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Ruth E. Yanzer

Ruth E. Yanzer, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born July 29, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Las Vegas Chicago Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Bryl, and one son, Donnie Yanzer, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
