Is the Democratic Party really the issue? I wonder why Marvin Adelman, in his April 9 letter to the editor, admits to “slowly but surely beginning to drift toward John McCain”? Why would anyone so easily embrace a candidate just because of politics in the Democratic Party?
Either you support the candidates on the issues, in whole or in part, or you do not. I personally have been grateful in the past that John McCain’s candidacy was not viable.
Arrogant, finger-pointing politicians, regardless of their political affiliation, are far more disgusting than anything that is going on in the Democratic Party. And besides that, anyone who can appear smugger than Vice President Dick Cheney should never be allowed to reside in the White House.
