Why can’t choppers help put out fires?

While watching the TV pictures being taken by a news helicopter hovering above the Monte Carlo fire, which seemed to be racing out of control, something kept crossing my mind: Why doesn’t the fire department have a standby helicopter loaded with fire suppressing materials, especially nowadays with all the high structures continually being built?
