A 58-year-old Texas state employee has won a $21 million slot jackpot.
Connie Thiele says she was playing a Megabucks slot machine at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas when she decided to switch to the machine next to her.
Thiele says she put in $20 and won on the first pull.
The jackpot is the largest of three Megabucks jackpots won at the Palms since 2004.
The casino says Thiele, of Austin, works as a travel coordinator for the Texas Department of Information Resources and regularly visits Las Vegas with her husband.
