Letter to the editor:
Local hospital’s care, personnel were great
Fri, May 9, 2008 (2:02 a.m.)
I receive medical care through an HMO — and I am 83 years young!
On Saturday my heart suddenly caused me to call 911 for immediate attention. The ambulance took me to Desert Springs Hospital’s cardiac unit. Fortunately for me, it had one bed available, although it was very busy.
I had all tests and exams done in an acceptable amount of time. People write often to gripe and complain. I am writing about the wonderful, efficient treatment I had by a great doctor, nurses and technicians. Thank you so much for your care. Thank you to the cardiac unit.
