It’s time for the offering during Sunday night’s Spanish-language service at St. Bridget Catholic Church near downtown Las Vegas. Isidro and Veronica Acosta make sure each of their five children has at least a dollar to add to the offering plate when collections are taken, including the youngest, 7-month-old Adrian, who manages to keep the cash out of his mouth until it’s time to give. From left, Isidro passes a bill to Veronica as Giovanni, 5, comforts Adrian with 2-year-old Isidro Jr. in the arms of his mother. Daughters Kassandra and Marissa are not pictured.
