Some people believe it’s time to make a wish when a digital clock reads all one number (like 1:11 or 3:33) and some believe 11:11 is particularly lucky. This wall of clocks at the National Association of Broadcasters show at the Las Vegas Convention Center last week brought to mind that superstition. A little after 10:30 a.m., it dawned on me that 11:11:11 a.m. would be my big wish moment. Er, second. Finishing up pictures for a business story, I killed a few more minutes. While waiting I thought, “Do I make one wish and hope it gets 24 times the power, or do I make 24 wishes, one for each clock?”
