Las Vegas headliner Terry Fator will return to his small-screen alma mater this week.

Fator and two of his most popular puppets, Maynard Thompkins and Duggie, will appear on Wednesday’s episode of the hit NBC variety show, “America’s Got Talent.” Fator is a past champion of the series.

Through the magic of TV pre-production, Fator will do a little magic act and appear in two places at once: He will perform onstage at The Mirage, and mark his return to the small screen mere moments later. The ventriloquist and impersonator pre-recorded his “America’s Got Talent” segment today in Los Angeles.

He will perform on Wednesday, as he does five nights a week, Tuesday through Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. Meanwhile, he will appear toward the end of Wednesday night’s episode of “America’s Got Talent,” which begins just as his show ends, at 9 p.m.

Fator will perform Aaron Neville’s “Don’t Know Much” and “Sweet Home Alabama” for his return to “America’s Got Talent.”

The entertainer’s guest appearance on the NBC program that made his a star comes just two days before he will celebrate his 100th performance as a headliner at The Mirage.

Fator won “America’s Got Talent” in 2007, and his show, Terry Fator and His Cast of Thousands, made its debut on the Strip in March of this year.
