Available exclusively at Boychuck's salons Color (Caesars Palace) and AMP (Palms), the Oribe line of hair-care products helps an average set of locks take that first step toward fashion-spread greatness. The eponymous stylist's work has graced photo shoots and ads for three decades, and now his secret is out. The 24K gold pomade ($49) adds rich, golden highlights that are perfect for a night out in Las Vegas.

When Hairdreams was looking to name its Top Extension Specialist in Las Vegas for 2009, there was plenty of competition. After all, Las Vegas is a city that thrives on cultivating an image, whether naturally or unnaturally, and sometimes a short do just won't ... do. The hair-extension brand looked no further than Prema Zombori, a stylist at Michael Boychuck's AMP Salon in Palms.

"I was kind of surprised," she said. "Hairdreams is in some major hotels ... so I was impressed."

Zombori has very fine hair, so when switching over to hairstyling after a career as an aesthetician she made it her goal to create for other women the thicker, more luxurious hair she always wanted for herself. While she's open about her own extensions, she says that not all women are ready to admit it themselves.

"It's 50/50," she said. "Some people are very private about it, and other people, they don't care."

Apprenticing under Boychuck, a master stylist in his own right, she learned the tools needed to "amplify" some of the city's top coifs.

"If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have anything that I have today," Zombori said. "I really, really mean that. He's a great person to work for. He has a really good work ethic."
