Hypnotist promises guests an “exotic journey”

Become a kung-fu fighter. Or your favorite celebrity. Or go on an exotic vacation — in your mind, anyway.

Just look into the mesmerizing green eyes of Las Vegas hypnotist Norann.

She will perform at the Casino MonteLago's Portofino Room at 8 p.m. Feb. 26.

Norann, who only goes by her stage name, has brought out the dancing star in shy spectators for the past seven years.

She's discussed hypnotism on "The Tyra Banks Show," hypnotized daters on the reality/comedy TV show "Blind Date" and lunched with Ira at the Hilton on public access TV. Her multi-colored blond curls can be seen on the Fremont Street Experience TV broadcast.

And all she does is get a guest to stare at the ceiling. She's known for getting people "under" in about seven minutes, which is why Norann calls herself "the world's fastest female hypnotist."

"They'll go on exotic vacations in their mind, drink exotic drinks with no ill effects, and we may have a dance contest."

When it's all done, she said, volunteers will feel as refreshed as after eight-hours of sleep.

Audience members, on the other hand, will have seen an hourlong comedy show.
