Group protests Reid, stimulus in Carson City

CARSON CITY – A small group demonstrated today in front of the Nevada Legislative Building protesting against Sen. Harry Reid, who was addressing the Senate and Assembly, and the federal stimulus.

The six protesters carried signs calling for Reid to be defeated in the next election.

“This guy has got to go,” said Adam Baker of Carson City. Baker previously protested against Republican Gov. Kenny Guinn, putting his picture in the restrooms of government buildings.

Carol Howell of Carson City said Reid led the passage of the stimulus bill “and nobody knows what’s in it. They (Congress) are the biggest bunch of crooks and he’s their leader.”
