New Vista Community will soon kick off this year’s Wine Walk season.
The local charity’s fundraising events, held in years past at The District at Green Valley Ranch and Monte Lago Village at Lake Las Vegas, are now at Town Square and Boca Park shopping centers.
The Wine Walk series begins Feb. 28 with the Season Kick Off Event, Wine Walk, The Big One. The event will run 4 to 8 p.m. at Town Square, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and will feature food samples as well as wines from DeLuca Liquor and Wines.
Live entertainment and a silent auction will also be part of the event.
Admission to the event is $75 if purchased in advance or $100 at the door.
Future Wine Walk dates at Town Square are April 4, May 5, Sept. 5 and Oct. 3.
Future Summerlin Wine Walk dates at Boca Park, at the northeast corner of West Charleston Boulevard and Rampart Boulevard, are April 25, May 23, Sept. 26 and Oct. 17.
Proceeds help support New Vista Community in its goal of providing equal opportunities and support to intellectually challenged people of all ages so they may experience life to the fullest. The organization provides housing, respite care, in-home services to families with intellectually challenged members, recreational activities and life skills training.
