The $9.2 billion CityCenter project towers over the Strip on the west side of Las Vegas Boulevard. CityCenter announced Monday it is accepting applications for about 12,000 new jobs.

CityCenter is accepting applications beginning today to fill 12,000 positions, the largest employment opportunity available in the country, the company said.

Applications will be accepted on the CityCenter Web site at citycentercareers.com, and there will be an in-person interview for local applicants and phone interviews for out-of-state applicants.

Applicants without a computer can apply at Clark County Libraries, Nevada Partners, Nevada Job Connect and UNLV.

CityCenter will be hiring for positions at ARIA Resort & Casino, Vdara Hotel and Crystals, which is the development's retail and entertainment district. In addition, Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas, and The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences will be accepting applications through the Web site beginning this spring.

Jobs include food and beverage, hotel operations, casino operations, retail management, entertainment, finance, human resources, facilities and security.

“We’re proud to be creating 12,000 new jobs at CityCenter that will be filled by smart, passionate individuals from throughout the state and country,” CityCenter’s president and chief executive officer Bobby Baldwin said in a prepared statement. “We welcome individuals of all experience levels and backgrounds to submit their applications today.”
