Let’s try this again: Lady Gaga is bringing her shock-pop to Las Vegas.

The eccentric singer, who is known for her extreme costumes and onstage persona, announced today that she will perform at the Palms next month.

Today’s announcement comes six weeks after Gaga’s ”Fame Kills” tour with fellow controversial act, Kanye West, was announced, then killed before it even started two weeks later, on Oct. 1.

Gaga and West were slated to play the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Nov. 13.

While no opening act has been announced, West is not expected to join Gaga’s upcoming U.S.-U.K. “Monster” tour.

The notorious “Poker Face” singer will bring her wild ways to Las Vegas on Dec. 18.

Tickets for the show, which will take place in the 2,600-seat Pearl concert theater, are priced at $100 and $125 (plus service fees) will go on sale this Saturday, Nov. 7.

Passes will be available from Ticketmaster outlets and The Pearl box office, as well as online (ticketmaster.com and livenation.com) and by phone (702-942-7777 or 1-800-745-3000).

The exhibitionist, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has made a name for herself since emerging from New York’s club scene thanks to over-the-top live shows, wacky costumes, and catchy dance tracks.

Though criticized by critics for being more scandalous sizzle than legitimate, talented steak, Lady Gaga recently went down in music history as the first artist to have for number one hits from a debut album.

Gaga has also gained legitimacy thanks to a 2009 Grammy nomination in the “Best Dance Recording” category, for “Poker Face”. What’s more, she recently collected three MTV Video Music Awards (“Best New Artist,” “Best Special Effects,” and “Best Art Direction”) from her nine nominations.

Gaga also gave a (fake) blood-soaked performance of "Paparazzi” at the Sept. 13 awards show.

Her breakout record, “The Fame,” was released in August of last year and has produced chart-toppers “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Paparazzi” and “Love Game.” A re-release of the record, titled “Fame Monster,” is expected later this month, along with eight new songs, including her current single, “Bad Romance.”
