Home News, Boulder City News honored for excellence

The Home News was honored in 15 categories in the Nevada Press Association's 2008 Better Newspaper Contest, including first-place awards for overall general excellence and advertising general excellence among the state's large weeklies.

The Boulder City News was honored in 12 categories, including advertising general excellence.

The results were announced Sept. 19 at an awards banquet at the Winnemucca Convention Center. The contest was judged by members of the Wyoming Press Association.
