With 41 beers on tap, including the only cask beers (English-style beers served 7 to 10 degrees warmer than normal) in the state of Nevada, Todd English P.U.B. certainly caters to the hops-and-barley crowd. Since it's not recommended to try all 41 at once, the pub offers five separate beer flights, categorized by flavor, style and country of origin. The BIG Boy Beers flight features Arrogant Bastard, Speakeasy Big Daddy IPA, Delerium Tremens and Chimay Cinq Cents for just $16.

It all started for Kelley Jones at a diner in his hometown of Madison, N.J. He was 14, and the tasks of the day involved washing dishes, bussing the contents of a 12-page menu off tabletops and watching the cake wheels spin round and round. It seems a world away today, as Jones, now managing partner of Todd English P.U.B. in the Crystals retail complex at CityCenter, enthusiastically recalls his past.

Prior to teaming up with Chef English, Jones served as vice president of operations for Philadelphia-based Starr Restaurants, president of Las Vegas' own Light Group and vice president of restaurant operations for Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group.

"My business ultimately comes down to relationships, and I think any business really comes down to that," Jones said. "I like to say I'm serious about what I do, I just don't take myself very seriously."

That laid-back attitude comes across in his work with Todd English P.U.B., where he's introduced Nickel Beer Night, an ongoing Tuesday night promotion featuring five-cent Pabst Blue Ribbon cups from 9-11 p.m.

"I could not put my finger on the demographic if I tried," he said of the pub. "You've got the family, you've got the old couple, you've got the young hipsters at the bar — you've got just about any demographic."
