Working on your tan: Pool party hiring underway

Get thee to a spray-on tannery. And fast.

Vegas pools are hiring in the dead of winter, so don your sexiest swimwear under your parka and do 10,000 crunches, like, now, or you might miss your chance to score a summer gig.

Wet Republic, Aria’s new pool, Liquid, and Bare already have held their job fairs, but you have a few more chances to snag a spot to sizzle in the sun while slinging drinks.

The Palms Pool & Bungalows is searching for staffers — cocktail waitresses, bartenders, bar backs, food runners, porters, restroom attendants and lifeguards — from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rain. All 21-and-over interested candidates first need to fill out an online application and upload their resume to www.n9negroup.com/careers before stripping down to their skivvies.

The infamous debauchery of Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is holding an open casting call from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at The Joint. Seeking 21-and-up cocktail servers, bartenders, bar backs, cabana attendants, food runners, door hosts and lifeguards, Rehab also will hold a second casting call February 18 — same times, same place — and on both dates it’ll be looking for employees for Hard Rock’s new Skybar, as well.

In addition, Hard Rock will host another job fair from noon to 6 p.m. February 11 at the Joint for positions at the brand-new west pool. All applicants for Rehab, Skybar and the west pool must arrive in pool attire for their audition photo, so put your best face — and abs — forward.

Shying away from the sun but still looking for a job surrounded by party people? Though it’s not open yet, Mario Barth’s King Ink is hiring, as well. The new Mirage venue aims to combine tattooing and nightlife, hence they’re looking for a VIP host and hostess, promoters, security, a bus person and an apprentice bartender (Tattoo artists and piercers can apply online). Interested 21-and-up parties can apply at Jet from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
