“Models & Bottles”—it could have been the flyer for the February 17 event at Ghostbar. Three gorgeous ladies took center stage under studio lights, their perfect figures making me reconsider what I had eaten for dinner (and lunch, and anything else besides rice cakes, for that matter). The event highlighted Filthy Mouth Clothing by designer Brooke Mitchell in connection with MAGIC week. Primping and posing during a live photo shoot, Ghostbar cocktail servers and friends donned designs by Mitchell (also a Rain door host). Three sets of svelte club-ready outfits were presented to champagne-drinking onlookers while photographer Shane O’Neal directed the trio of beauties. With each flashbulb pop, I made a mental note of which outfits I would have bought if the penny slots had cashed out in my favor the week before. For now, I’ll just drool over the designs when I pass them on display at the Stuff Store—and do an extra 10 miles on the stationary bike to look as good as Mitchell and the girls.
