About Brad Sher: As CFO, Brad Sher is charged with securing financing for major development projects in Southern Nevada. He helped spark Las Vegas’ luxury high rise market when he secured financing for Park Towers. He has also secured hundreds of millions of dollars to finance several public-private partnerships including Casa Grande for the state of Nevada, the Clark County Detention Facility, the IRS Building and the Social Security Administration for the General Services Administration and the Molasky Corporate Center in conjunction with the Southern Nevada Water Authority – the first LEED-certified Gold Class A office building in downtown Las Vegas. Sher is a member of the Financial Executives International organization and participates in the monthly networking program, Lunch Buddies. Prior to joining the Molasky Group of Companies, Sher worked as a senior analyst in the real estate investment banking group of BT Alex Brown. He is also a supporter of the Shade Tree Shelter and Opportunity Village..

The most important issue facing the valley: The budget shortfall and how it will affect public K-12 education throughout the valley is of utmost importance. Right now our state ranks 48th in the nation in education spending. Our state needs to place more value on education.

My mentor and why: My mentor is Irwin Molasky who does not know the meaning of “it can’t be done” and practices the lost art of integrity every day of his life.
