Snakes on the mutha-f&@#!g Strip!

Seriously. In a glass room.

If, all of a sudden, 100 more potential dangerous snakes were to appear on the Strip, would anybody even notice?

Since Sunday, as a stunt for an upcoming Animal Planet special, adventurer and venom expert Donald Schultz is spending day and night in a clear glass box in front of O’Sheas Casino.

Now some might say that O’Sheas is already overrun with iffy critters, but Schultz has brought along some really bad company: cobras, pythons and rattlesnakes, 100 of them, and he’s eating and sleeping amid them until Tuesday, in full view of tourists and passersby.

This snake-in-the-glass scenario sounds like a treatment for The Hangover 2, but it’s more a working Vegas vacation for Schultz, who will extract venom for research and conduct tests to measure fang penetration and strike range of his roommates (Wild Recon airs February 9).

Schultz’s digs—16-by-20-feet, with a bed, tiny frosted-glass restroom, and several Big Brother-style cameras—have an enviable view of Caesars Palace across the boulevard. Could this be the new model for Strip timeshares?
