- Where: RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay; 632-9300

If you spent any time over the last few months watching Bravo's all-star cooking competition and homage to fabulous food, Top Chef Masters, you've probably been left, well, hungry.
On June 23, you can dine like Masters judges Gael Greene, James Oseland, Jay Rayner and Kelly Choi at Rick Moonen's Mandalay Bay restaurant when Season 2 winner Marcus Samuelsson stops by for a night of coordinated cooking in place of fierce competition. Tag teaming the evening, Samuelsson and runner-up Moonen will start things off with a cooking demonstration, followed by a cocktail reception and a five-course dinner in which both chefs will get to show off their culinary chops without TV cameras capturing every sprint to the pantry. And, like their efforts on Bravo, both chefs will be cooking for a good cause: local non-profit Three Square Food Bank. Now when the reruns start you can look at the TV and think, Yeah, I ate that.
Rick Moonen's RM Seafood (Note: Las Vegas Weekly journalist Robin Leach reports Rick Moonen's high-concept cuisine dining area on the second floor of his RM Seafood restaurant has ended its run at Mandalay Bay. The downstairs RM Seafood will remain open during the transformation of the upstairs space, which will be geared toward comfort food at lower prices. The new upstairs place will be called Rx Boiler Room and it's expected to be open sometime in July 2013. )
RM is short for Rick Moonen, a transplanted New Yorker who has quickly become the master of all creatures from the sea, championing sustainable seafood. Try barramundi from Australia or herb-crusted Dover sole done on a Dungeness crab brandade. The restaurant offers two dining options. Downstairs is a full casual dining menu featuring sushi and a pristine raw bar. Upstairs features a more intimate dining experience featuring a multi-course Chef's Tasting Menu that is taking fine dining in a new direction.
RM Seafood was listed in the book “Eating Las Vegas 2013: The 50 Essential Restaurants.” 3950 S. Las Vegas Boulevard Las Vegas,
